Day 1: Creative Title

So Day 1 of blogsville...I've always wanted a blog. I'm not sure why. I have no amazing insights to share with the world as of today, but in time that will come (sure it will).

Today I went to my second day of classes of the semester. It is SUPER snowy! I thought that I might get to stay in my warm bed due to the weather, but of course I couldn't get that lucky so off to math I trudged. There are only 12 people in my class which is pretty cool and I love the fact that all of us education majors have so much in common. I never get made fun of for having my huge bag of crayons and markers with me and the fact that I get so excited about school makes no difference. It feels really good when you find that place where you belong. I'm also pretty excited that for once in my life I am comfortable in a math class. It gives me a greater feeling of accomplishment when I get a good grade in this class than any of my others just because it has never been my strongest subject. Woohoo!

I don't mean to be a Debbie Downer but do you ever wonder why people think they can get away with being so inconsiderate? I have never understood the need to be rude and uncaring toward those around you. It doesn't matter if the are strangers or people you see everyday. I am tired of seeing people who seem to have no problem talking down to another person. What ever happened to common courtesy?
